All I can recommend is to write your book, and then to send your manuscript to various editors. If your book is specialized you will better send it to a specialized editor : by example, very few editors are accepting poems, and an editor publishing cook books will probably not accept a novel. You will earn between 4 and 12% of the price of the book. It will be more likely 6 to 8%, and it is not easy to discuss if it is your first book : the publisher can't know how many he will be able to sell. The best part in a book, at least for me, is to write it : enjoy writing your book, you will have time later to see your baby published.
