Dream or Nightmare?

Have any of you have dream that you wake up crying? I have. to this day, I still remember it. It was more like a nightmare to me. In this nightmare, my younger brother calls me and tells me "mom is gone" I replied, "why didn't any of you call me? I didn't get to tell her how much I love her." I cried frantically. My husband woke me up, still crying, tears rolling down my chin, my heart ache so bad. I picked up my cell phone. My husband asked,"who are you calling?" I ignored him and call. My mom answered. I finally breathe.... After having this nightmare, I was on alert for about a good week to two, before I became calm. I remember I kept thinking the nightmare was trying to tell me something. Why are some dreams so vague while others are so real?

I can't even begin to explain this. I have had many dreams like this where I wake up in a panic state wondering why it felt so real and if it meant something. I actually have had dreams that long later come to think of them and see some sort of correlation in my life with a certain issue. Maybe coincidental but when it happens so often I can't help but think how related it is sort of creeps me out.

Like tingtong mentioned, I too sometimes dream of something happening in my dreams, then later on something similar actually happens. Not all the times, but there are several occasion that when the event happens, I can quickly recall OMG, I had a dream about that.. I does creeps me out too. Now I just have to figure out which is just a dream, and which is trying to give me a heads up? hehehe yeah, only if right?
