Should I be sewing a wedding dress or renting one?

Hi, It's actually all up to you. May be constrained by your budget, time, and other factors. But to be practical you can always rent one, there are so many wedding dressing to choose from which are really unique. Your wedding dress is just a part of the whole preparation. So if I were you, think of all options first and decide according to importance. =)

practically speaking, i suggest to rent a gown instead of sewing a new one. after the wedding you will no longer use or wear it. besides sewing a new one is very expensive and you will just keep it in one corner. anyway you can rent a new gown with your own design.

Renting a dress is a good idea. Here in the States, most women buy them. They are seldom worn again and cost a great deal of money. The only good thing about it is you can save it. Sometimes it can be a waste of a lot of money. You spend all that money on a dress and some people get divorced in a few years. I think sewing one is much better! It will probably be much cheaper. If you can afford it, and are good at sewing you can make it exactly how you want it, and can save it.

That will be a very nice idea. You can choose your own design and you will really be loving everything on the dress. You will be sure you won't be worrying with your dress on your wedding day for you will be comfortable wearing it. You know your taste as well as your soon to be husband so for sure you will be both happy on that day. If i were to get married, I too will have a wedding gown be sew and designed by the best designers in town. Of course it should be within the budget range for the dress. if you are really good at sewing then you might as well do it. I would if iknew how to sew. then maybe you can pass it on to your children when they get married. It will become a family treasure because you have put so much effort to it.

When I was dreaming of my wedding day, which I wear my own gown. A unique gown that I'm the only one who wear it. For most women in the world wedding is one of the most special day for us. We dreaming a unique wedding day. I suggest to have your own gown for your wedding. It is once in your life so why you shouldn't forgive yourself? But if you can't afford having your own wedding gown, you should rent.

Well I dont often hear of people renting dresses. On my wedding day I wore a beautiful dress that my mother had bought for me. Its a shame really to spend $500 on a dress that will never be worn again. If your going to spend that kind of money it had better be one of the most amazing dresses you can find. I had a hard time finding a dress design I liked I wanted to have one custom made for me but it would have been so expensive. My friends mother made her dress for her. I am glad I was able to get a brand new dress but if its cheaper and you cant afford to buy one then there isnt anything wrong with wearing a rented dress. Hopefully weather you get a new dress or a rented dress you find something that is beautiful and that you will be proud to wear.
