Sad to Belong

The nice thing about old songs is that they tell a story. Most stories told here are based on true experiences.
I was listening and come across the song Sad to Belong. It tells a story of a married guy who encountered someone he feel is actually the right one for him. He's sad because he already belong to someone else and not to the girl he just met. This kind of thing happens not only to men but also to women.
Have you been in such situation wherein you already belong to your partner and yet there someone who came along and everything just feels good? I wonder, this could really be a sad thing. What do you say about this?

I was joking my friends with this song before. I keep on telling them that this should be their love song with the girl he is with now. I was interested of how the girl would react but I guess that it will be rude.
I think that this should not be the case. You always have a choice on who to be with so when you come across with someone whom you were involved with before, just let things be what they are, she is just a part of the past now and nothing more to it. You are now with someone and you will have better days together.
