A friend of mine told me how shampoo is bad for your hair because it strips away the natural oils of your hair. The Natural Oils in your hair are what make your hair glows. She told me that shampoo makes your hair look shiny but it's really not. If shampoo isn't good for your hair then what do I wash it with?

Well, just don't overdo it by shampooing everyday. Just do it every other day, like i do. Then, dilute a small amount of shampoo in a 2x amount of water when you shampoo. You can also condition it after that to make it shiny always.

Everyday shampooing will be bad for the hair, so like what i said , you just do it every other day. so that's 3x a week. Besides it should be diluted in water. Well, that is based on my experience. I guess, it depends on the hair strand. Mine are thick stranded ones. I guess those thin stranded ones are prone to falling hair.

isn't bad to shampoo your hair 2x a week? I hear your hair starts falling out if you do that everyday.

That is interesting and sounds logical, shampoo is full of chemicals but like you say you have to wash your hair and I don't feel good unlss I wash my hair every day...I wonder what is a natural way to wash your hair.

I was doing some research and they say the natural way to wash your hair would be with either eggs or mayonnaise. But they say mayonnaise is the best way to wash your hair, plus it makes your hair really shiny.

This is a difficult one - I use shampoo to wash away the days dirt and grime (okay, my hair doesn't get that bad, but you know what I mean - like you would always use soap to wash your hands...) though I know what you mean whn you say it strips the hair of the oils. But I just feel you need some soap lke substance to properly clean the hair as you would with your hands,, body or face. Anyone have any good ideas?

The problem is relative and obviously it depends on the type of hair sets. I only use shampoo from Forever Living. It is extremely good and has great beneficial effects on hair. I highly recommend it to you. Feel the hair really lives and breathes. I do not think that washing hair with shampoo is bad, you just have to find shampoo that suits your hair type.
