Moving to Brisbane, Australia. Anyone visited? / myLot

I'm moving to Brisbane in April/May. I've heard wonderful things about Sydney and Melbourne, but not much about Brisbane - other than the fact that it's very hot. Has anyone visited this city? How did you find it? What are the nicest things about Brisbane? And what is better avoided? Anybody living there already? Thanks :)

I also live in Melbourne but now Brisbane too is in attraction list of Australia as it is the third most popular city of Gold coast now. As the best things you can check out are Farmers markets , infrastructure of the city is fabulous and much more.

I live in Melbourne and I have been to Brisbane but some years ago, it is quite warm up there, muggy as we call it a special type of heat. I think you will be very happy there.
