Proper Push Ups

Can anyone tell me where i go wrong with my push ups? I am having neck strain. For your advice please.

Assuming you have just started doing push ups, it is normal as the neck, arm and shoulder muscles stretch. The pain will subside naturally as your muscles are conditioned. If you have been doing this for sometime now and still feel pain, you may be actually straining the muscles beyond normal. It often happens with do-it-yourself methods. You need advise from a physiotherapist on this. Please do not settle for less. A hot compress and a rub-in pain reliever lotion can bring you some relief. Please do not medicate yourself.
