life is not like archery compitetion, the greater target is the easier to success. If your target is greater and heavier more than you can aford, perhaps you will get depressed all your life, you will couldn't enjoy one minute of happy time. chinese proverb says: go with the flow. perhaps this could give you some rays to your life journey.

Hi friend, I agree with your title. We have to wait for that golden chance which will come in any instant. The only thing we have to do is wait for it. Before getting that chance we have to have been working hard, then only the chances will turned into great achievement. All the best for goal seekers. Have a nice day.

It is not bad to aim high either. But I suppose it is better if you also make smaller goals and be happy and celebrate these smaller goals as well, so that you won't feel so bad if you don't get your highest goal, or not get to it as quickly as you hope to.

"divide and conquer" I agree with you, if you aim for a great target you won't take it down in one shot, however you can split the great goal into many smaller ones, that way you can beat them one by one, getting closer to defeat the whole one-by-one. It'll sure take lots of patience but there's always the chance to make it.
