what is difference adware, spyware and anti virus

when we learn about computer, we will found many thing about terms that we must be to know. for the beginner (especialy me) may be confused with this terms. Now i try to learn about virus and anti virus, at this case i found some term that is make me confused, i don't know why some virus called adware and spyware. what is the difference ?
