My daughter loves driving with her Dad. everytime we go out, she's very happy coz she knew that she knew she will drive with her Dad. Her Dad used to put her in front of him while driving everytime we go to my mom's house (we live in the same community. she loves it when her Dad press the horn. When her Dad remove her hand at the horn, she will get her Dad's hand and place it the steering wheel to press the horn over and over again.

Hi, I believe your daughter is having a great time spent with her daddy. That is great. It is chance for them to have a great bonding moments and you should capture some pictures of them as memories. I like to snap pictures of my son while he is having a bonding moments with his daddy, it looks fun and great. Since I am taking care of my son full time, I spent most of my time with my son and we do have a great time together.

I did the same thing when my son was 3 years old. I even let him steer the wheel. I usually do that when we're about two houses away from our place. There's a downside to it though. My son loved it then so much, he now wants to actually own a car. And he's just 7 :)

Two specific cars at that. He wants a yellow sedan and a white SUV, both Japanese brands.

its really nice, but its true that father and daughter are usually more closer than a father wid son, likewise a mother and her son has a good relationship..even my sister and dad really do such things, he gives her sometimes his bike and u know she drives it and seeing that he feels proud that we can easily notice on his face, if my mom scolds my sister my father immediately argues with my mom supporting my sister, u know its really so cute and nice....

That's so sweet, my little daughter loves when my husband keep her in his lap when driving too. Actually it's a bit dangerous too you know, it's ok if it's done for fun. Usually daughters will be more attached with the daddy so I see that your daughter is enjoying herself with her DAD. It's good to develop an healthy bond with our kids so that they will not choose the wrong path in future.

Sweet! I was close to my dad when I was growing up. Now, my brother's daughter is close to her dad, too, and she also enjoys driving with him, too.

Glad to know that both father and daughter are enjoying in this way. Children always like to sit in the lap of parents while driving and playing with the horn. They feel as if they are driving the car and enjoys very much. I have seen this many times in life and this has become a common practice everywhere. I think this has some danger hidden as the driver does not pay proper attention needed for driving and thus can make wrong decisions. While playing with steering wheel child can also make it impossible sometime to move the steering quickly when it is needed for some reason. Personally speaking I do not think this is a very good habit as playing with horn can disturb other people on road and it also diverts there attention. I respect your view that you believe it can be harmful. Generally when there is less crowd and the road is traffic free, it is quite a good way of enjoying and providing fun to our children.

Then there is no problem at all. In fact it is very good that you know and do that only in your community. Keep up the good work and enjoy with your family.
