A Matter of Choice

Eleven minutes is one of my favorite books among Paulo Coehlo's. I really loved the story. It is about our choice in life. We should not say that there's no choice because in fact, we always have a choice. Whether it is a good or a bad choice, it is still a choice. So, if we find ourselves lonely about life, we always have a choice to be happy. We can choose to be one or just stay sad. Even with love, it's just a matter of choice. And I'm glad, i'm happy with my heart's choice.

I have not yet read this book but it sounds like interesting. I agree that we all have a choice. And everything that happens in our lives is our choice not becaused we are constrained.

I've read that book and felt very sad reading it, especially the first parts. There is just that melancholic feel especially as the story unfolded - the situation that had gotten her to where she was. But, I agree with you about choice. There is always a choice we have to make, and we choose what it is we want to do with our lives.

Very Good! You're happy with your heart's choice. I don't have much stories to share on here about my life choices because by percentage failures larger than successes. I mean, still far to enjoy the so called 50-50. However, still working hard to reach my life goals. I defined happiness is a situation when solutions greater than burdens. That is my personal definition and thoughts, anyway.

I haven't read much of Paul Coehlo, but i guess i should try this one. Yeah, that is nicely said, we always had a choice in our life but sometimes we are too blind to have ignored other options and thought there were no options left. Life is hard at times, but we must learn to adapt to the changes it brings along with it, we can't always keep regretting something, or mourn over some big mistake we had done or hurt someone. We can still get along with the bright side of life, the only thing is that it might become difficult for us to the take a decision we don't want to.

I agree with you. Everyone has the freedom to do things. They can choose to be or not to be happy. Sometimes, what really affects our decision to do things are what other people say and expect us to do. So, it is very easy for some to blame it on not having a choice.
