When you find it hard to sleep, have you tried Iterax tablet?

I have a friend who's a nurse and I ask him what's the best medicine to take when one find it hard to sleep and he told me to buy Iterax tablet because it's over the counter and anybody can take it. So when my cousin find it hard to sleep instead of taking a sleeping pills, I recommend her to take Iterax and alas! she did sleep for the whole night and she feels good. But I was wondering if there would be some side effects of it. Have anyone tried this taking Iterax tablet? Is it ok to take anytime?

Iterax is not available in the U.S. I think its equivalent here is atarax and would need a prescription. When I have difficulty sleeping, I sometimes take Melatonin. This is a substance that is already present in the human body and is secreted when nighttime comes to tell the body to go to sleep. Using the medication helps kick start the body in getting one to sleep.

Yes, it could only be here in our country. I haven't heard about Melatonin. You need to have prescription, oh it could be hard and I guess bit complicated when taking that kind of medicine. What I like about Iterax is because it's over the counter so no problem when you find it hard to sleep, just take the tablet and sleep like a baby.
