Hi viru Yes vegetarian food offers lot of benefits to human being when compared to non-veg stuff. In fact our body is not meant for eating meat and other non-veg stuff. The list of those who abstain from all animal products are rapidly growing; these people are referred to as pure vegetarians or vegans. Scientific research shows that health benefits increase as the amount of food from animal sources in the diet decreases, so vegan diets are the healthiest overall. Studies have shown that vegetarians following a well-balanced low-fat high-fibre vegetarian diet often have lower incidence of coronary artery disease, hypertension, obesity and some forms of cancer. A vegetarian diet tends to be lower in total fat, and vegetarians tend to eat proportionally more polyunsaturated fat to saturated fat compared with non-vegetarians since animal products are the major sources of dietary saturated fat. Also by being a vegetarian or a vegan, you are discouraging slaughtering of animals and fowls for our own consumption. so you are doing a good cause

Hi viru, Obviously, to be a vegetarinism is very good for your health and it can prolong your lifespan. But I think, to be a total vegetarianism means that you would enjoy less pleasure of eating ,3-4 days in a week is perfect for you.
