why are some sections here that were supposed to be popular so bare?

for example the big bang theory of tv series,come on that one is right on air and it just won some awards,so i was kinda shocked when i had to skip to page 3 of tv series section to find it,on contray friends,the one that was ended years ago,is still most popular to discuss of all those,that is popular only in comparison with the worse ones though. so there's just no one can discuss it ,those sections look further and further away us because who knows when were you getting any replies if you started a topic there.
