politics is dirty but why do wee keep away from it?

I agree... we have a two party polcy here in Australia and both have proven they are both dishonest, so when I told everyone I was going to put in a protest vote meaning blank... I got howled down but I look at it that if every one or even the majority did the same then they would have to do a re-think maybe put up new politicians or give us more parties that we have a bigger choice...

lilac lady thanx for dropin by, it's good that you only have two party policy here in the philippines we are multi-party sytem. the boycott system here is not much applicable because the people would still vote to qoute them "we will select the lesser evil"

Here in our country, politics is really dirty. There are a lot of corruption and a lot of money making ways when it comes to politics. That is why, services are always affected. If only we vote wisely and choose our candidates well, perhaps this would put an end to our complaints. But sad to note those who are dirty most often win, considering that they spend a lot of money to win. And when they are position, they will surely do things to get back what they have spent and even make more money to enrich themselves.
