What would you do if there is no NFL football this year?

Let's all hope for the best and that the players and owners can reach some type of agreement before the season starts. I would like to know your opinions on this. Personally, I can't really imagine going a whole season without watching NFL games. I guess I would spend more time watching movies and surfing the internet but the excitement of watching my favorite team play every Sunday would surely be missed!

I could really care less if football dropped off the edge of the earth as you can probably tell I'm not a football fan. I did play powderpuff football when I was in high school where the girls played and the boys dressed up as cheerleaders. That was kind of fun but it was flag football.

I agree with you, dreamy. Not only do I not care if the nfl falls off the planet, I'd actually like to see that happen. I'm so fed up with all the violence, greed and other BS that is so prevelent with these jerks. Every time I turn around, someone else is arrested for some crime. Maybe it's time for these football creeps to stay home and clean out the garage or do something else useful for a change.

I still hope there will be an NFL season this year! At least part of a season! I have seen 3 NFL strikes. The first one in,I think it was like 1974,I didn't understand it or remeber much of. The next two I remeber well and it was heck! If we have no NFL season in 2011,I can't see the Green Bay Packers try to repeat in the Super Bowl! I won't be able to see most of the Packers who were on injured reserve last season play! I can't see any games on sunday and monday night! It will be very boring and I will be very pissed if a strike happens! When a strike happens the owners, the players, the coaches and us,the fans all lose out! It will be a sad situation!

I'll be fine without football. It'll be interesting watching/reading the fight between the owners and the players. Seems like everyone wants more money. I think the owners are going to stay stubborn and there will be a lockout. I'm not a big football fan so it won't impact me very much. But I will sympathize with the fans.

I remember when the NFL players went on strike in 1987. Only one game was cancelled because the NFL put together replacement teams. I remember it well because the Redskins (my team) had a killer replacement squad -- they won all their games. AND the Redskins went on to win the Super Bowl that year. So now, it's all about $$$. Owners want a bigger share and an 18-week schedule to cash in on more of that TV revenue. And since it is all about money, I seriously doubt they'll risk cancelling the source of that money. I have read that a lockout won't threaten regular season though. PLAY BALL!

I'll get a lot of reading done. I hope that doesn't happen though.
