What is your favorite kind of rice?? I went to a Japanese restaurant where they cook your food right in front of you the other night and had some of their egg fried rice, it was amazing! The onions, eggs, and pieces of celery all blended together was just so delicious. So it made me wonder, what is your favorite kind of rice? Do you share your favorite with me? Or do you have a different favorite?

Nasi Goreng! The spicier, the better! Unfortunately, rice packs so much carbs I can't have it every time. If I have to eat it everyday, I would have to live with brown rice.

My favourite kind of rice the rice cooked by someone else, for some reason I just can't get it right, maybe I don't put the right sauces in it or something, I am not a good cook and as far as rice is concerned you can't beat the rice you get from the Chinese shops....

Being a Filipino, I can't live without rice because it's our staple dish. We eat steamed rice daily but on a few occasions, we get to eat different kinds of rice. There's a certain Japanese food chain here that has a really great Japanese fried rice. I think it has carrots, some onion, green peas, pepper, and bellpepper. I'm not sure though. On the other hand, I also like garlic rice (I think the rice is sauteed with garlic cloves and topped with minced garlic), Shanghai fried rice (Chinese style, with carrots, kernel corn, green peas, and shreds or scrambled eggs), bacon rice available from another food chain, and Spanish rice (rice that appears instense yellow in color). Aside from these, Kenny Rogers Philippines carries a Spanish rice on their menu and it's also one of my favorites. Hahaha, typing all of these made me crave for these rice dishes. Have a rice day!

HaHa!!!I'm from Asia. Rice are very popular in Asia.We have a lot of cooking methods on rice, such as fried rice, rice served with meat and vegetable on top. There is an easy way for cooking a delicious fried rice.Prepare the food you like, such as sausage, beef, carrot, eggs, pea and so on.You'd better prepare shallot or onions,it will make the flavor very well!!!Then the rice, the rice must cold,it's better cooked last night.Because overnight rice won't be soft.Fried rice must need rice which is dry. Then turn on the gas, then pour the oil, when the oil temperatrue rise about 70 degrees, you can add onions and shallot, stir fried it.Then add the beef, sausage, carrot, pea in it stir fried.Fill out these food, then pour the rice ,stir fried it.If you want to add an egg,I think you'd better seprate stir fried it ,because if you stir fried egg with these food,it will look urgly. At the end,you just put salt and flavoring in it.
