bestfriends forever... do you bhave one?

March 8, 2011 3:33am CST
its rare to find a friend who's true enough to stay and to be with you through thick and thin, and i'm really glad to have one... someone whom i can lean on and i feel secure.. even though we might not see for along time... less communication but its absence doesn't matter because no matter what the distance real friends stay forever and in our hearts... as what the line goes, its better to have few or one friend that are real than to have many who are pretenders...

hi there. i used to have a lot of friends but i don't think it was pure and true because since i don't party or go out lately because i have to review for my exams, i think they have forgotten already. at least maybe just an invite but none. i have my very best friend and that is my boyfriend. he never leaves my side, even though our relationship is also kind of rocky, at least he is still there as a friend to me. it has been more than a year now and i cant feel those "friends" anymore. i reach out but well if they don't need my company anymore because they have found new ones, it is okay. it is not like i cant live without them hehehe.

Good for you. Atleast you had one. I do not have a bestfriend but I have friends, they are also typical like a bestfriend . Its hard to choose who is the best one, but I they are all the bestfriends i've got.

I have some friends that we knew each other at school mostly. I think one or two of them can be called good friends but I always leave the best friend spot for my sister. I think she is the only person that I alwyas like to hang out with and talk to.

Hi yenseyer :) I agree with you. I have lots of friends and they are all cool but you can never deny the fact that even if you treated them well some would really back stab you. I'm hoping to have a true friend that would be there for me even through thick and thin. Just like what my friends always say when our boyfriends break our hearts we always run to our girlfriends and cry.

Yes I do have one. I was very happy I met her in my life. If I never know her, my life would be so different from what I now. She is the one who is responsible for encouraging me up, and making me realize that life is more beautiful that it used to be. I do have a best friend. We care for each other. We help each other and love each other. We share our thoughts and feelings with one another. We are our own refuge when I can't discuss our problems to our family (i.e. parents), etc. She's always almost been there for me -- and I do the same for her. When you say "she always understand me and cares for me and always been there for me, etc" You are not best friends WITH her. In that case, you are the only one who treats her as a best friend. She/He doesn't treat you as one because (maybe) you're not always been there for her when she/he needs you, etc. See the point there? There must be mutualism involved between the two of you, before you consider YOURSELVES as bffs.

Hi dear, I have got a lot number of friends and out of which many are just in the name of friends. I feel that old friends are more closer than the new friends. I have limited friends in the early times and they are much closers and I realised the meaning of friend through them only. New friends are just casual and they really meant for talk and forget. The modern friends are just like new products, which look nice and attractive, but won't last for long. Thank-s

Hi Yenseyer, It's really a blessing and a great privilege to be valued as a real friend and I am glad to have found my own true friends who stayed with me through thick and thin. I got 2 from my childhood/neighborhood friends, one from college years and one from a previous employment. My childhood best friends were also friends. I love them as my own sisters and they have shown me more in the number of years we were together. Though we seldom see each other and even three of them are in a foreign land, we never cease to be in touch. I value them so much as I value my own family. It's true, it's quite rare to find a treasure of a friend and I may say I am truly blessed to have 4 gems of friends, my friends for life. I'm glad you found yours too. God bless your friendship that it may prosper even more through the years. Have a nice day!

it's really lucky to get such a friend or some such friends. but i know it's not easy. sometimes there are something always out of our control. maybe we are too shy, maybe we are not brave enough. A true friendship is a great wealth worth us cherishing forever. i am not sure whether i have got or not. but i am trying to keep what i have found.

Yes i actually have 4 best friends. I love them all to pieces but they don't know eachh other. Anyway I'm glad I have them coz without them i would be so lost. They are like the bright light on a dark day to me. They are always there for me. But now we are in different places =( I haven't met them for a long time now. But we do call each other and chat online a lot. I wanna earn some money and go visit them real badly. I hope I get to meet them real soon.

Yes I indeed have one. No wonder its called "best" because she's the best among the rest. She's someone whom you run to at any time of the day or night even when everyone has hit the sack. Someone who understands you and never criticizes you destructively rather constructively and who accepts you with what and who you are. She is someone too who listens before suggesting any piece of advice and always finds the reason behind everything not simply judging or jumping into any conclusion. Respect, trust, and communication are the pillars of a true and lasting friendship which I have considered more than a decade now.

Hi yenseyer! yeah, I'm lucky enough to have a very good friend that understands me and know me like no other. That's just a great feeling having a person like that in your life, isn't it? Like you we can have less communication and then when we talk to eachother it's like only 5 minutes past. There is also a saying good friends can fo everything together but best friends can do nothing together. That's something to think about, have a nice day :)
