BBM vs Pingchat

Yesterday i started a discussion about my friend getting rid of his Blackberry in exchange of Samsung Galaxy S and since then we weren't communicating as often as we used to because we cannot effectively use other messenger services with his smartphone, though we were using gtalk, it wasn't really working well for us. So last night just before i was about to get to bed and sleep, he sent me a message and told me about pingchat. For those who doesn't know about this, Pingchat is a messenger similar to that of BBM that we can use in our android, smartphone and blackberry. The big difference between pingchat and bbm is that, pingchat doesn't have an emoticon. I love making faces with my friend with those emoticons and this kind of make pingchat a bit boring to use. But i'm just glad that he's always online and i can see what's he doing most of the time now because when you have pingchat you're always online.
