Will Active Directory be a part of Windows Vista?

Have you heard of the Codename Longhorn that Microsoft is currently developing. This is the Server equivalent of Vista. This is the successor of Windows Server 2003. This is exciting because new technologies will be released on this but im pretty sure it's gonna be a mess on the Release candidate... it's microsoft.. nothing's new on their Release Candidates...
