bypassing proxy...???

Currently i am staying in hostel and internet here sucks.All our requests pass through a proxy server which blocks the websites with keywords orkut,myspace,celebrity,movie,film,nude and other sites that a youngster would love to visit.Also video streaming is disabled. So its been so long since i have seen a funny youtube clip or epl goals.The miserable thing is we can't download any file with size more than 20mb.Lately i have found ways to overcome proxy using some sites which provide access to all sites.But still I have problem in streaming videos.Also my cousin told some softwares are there to bypass proxy.But I have downloaded some and its of no use.All of them are ineffective.So if anyone knows the proxysites which can stream videos and any softwares that can bypass proxy,please tell me about them.
