I was just looking at the local weather site, and based on what I saw, it looks like winter is over.
It's going to be rainy and above freezing for at least part of next week which will be nice. Not the rain, but the warmer temperatures.
Looks like the groundhogs were semi right, although winter was not over 2 weeks early, it still snowed yesterday.
Today it's slick out there, especially in my backyard where I almost fell on a nasty patch of ice.
Spooked the dog who was waiting inside for me, he almost jumped back against the wall.
I'm really looking forward to spring and summer, can't wait to get the lighter clothes out and be able to stay warm without having to wear tons of layers.

We are having rain right now in Eastern Canada....but we know that winter is not over here yet.
There will still be snow storms yet.

95% of our snow is gone, and I hope the rest goes with it, by morning. I never want to see snow again. It's great to see spring weather again, and if it continues to get warmer, I have big plans to sit outside at the cafe, when I go up there for my daily cup of coffee, and newspaper/magazine reading.

Yeah, I can tell that spring is here, the ground has been thawed, thelittle flowers are all coming out, although it is still 40s degree but it is getting wamer slowly. I can't wiat the spring come!!

I am in Ontario,Canada and one day it is decent and looks like spring. Rainy and warmer. The next day...it is snowing. This winter has been evil and this month, just plain ugly. I will be so glad to see summer and heat! I think I suffer from seasonal affective disorder. I really get down in the dumps through the winter. I need to get out of here and get myself about 2000 miles south.

I wish! We are supposed to get 2 to 4 inches of snow tonight. I was hoping that it was over, but don't look like it is here.

Spring may or may not be here, but for now it looks like it is. We have sun and warm temperatures out there. I need to go soak some up. Today I have worn a sleeveless top and some knee length shorts. When we quit having to have all those long and heavy layers our laundry burden goes down as well. We have not had snow for a few days, other than a few flakes yesterday when it was gloomy.

Hi. kris182_2000. It is still cool here where we live at. Yesterday it was in the 60s. This weekend it is supposed to be in the early 70s. Nice weather, but not quite summer weather. I know that when May gets here, it will be hot enough. No more cold breezes, the weather will be just right. I can't wait until that happens. It is just the hot heat that I dread during the summer, I don't like to face this season.
