So I think my wisdom tooth is coming in. I feel it coming in and the gum is sore around the tooth. The back side of my mouth is sore, and my jaw is a little sore as well. I have been taking pain relievers to reduce the pain. Don't get me wrong it is not unbearable pain, I can handle it. I just wish it would stop. I'm afraid that this is going to last for months on end.

My dentist told me last month that I have a couple of wisdom tooth. They have not bothered me yet, but I hope that they never does. My husband has gotten a few of his taken out last year and this year. He had to get his gum cut in order to have his teeth removed. Once he was gassed up. The next surgery, he just had his gum numbed. I would hate to tell you that you will be okay. But I know that wisdom teeth have a tendency to become a problem in the longer run. I just hope that the pain will not get too worse. And if it does by chance, contact your dentist or surgeon to have it removed. I hope that you will feel better very soon. My husband had surgery on his mouth twice, and I was so worried about him each and every time. I hope that things will get better for you. Take care.

Thank you for your reply. I really appreciate you telling me all this. I might have to go to the dentists soon. It is starting to ache more but I am seeing the tooth more. I think it is finally started to come in through the gum. My sister can even see the tooth when she looks in the back of my mouth.

Oh and ouchy! My wisdom teeth were so irritating form age 19 through age 27 and it was the it was discovered that mine were wrapped into my gum line so I had to have the dentist dig deep and pull them out. I hope yours is not as irritating as mine were and you can get relief soon.

I have had all of my wisdom teeth taken out. It was painful, but I got over it. The last one that was taken out was a pain in the butt for my dentist to get out because it was really stuck in there. The pain goes away, trust me.

Suck on a clove, or apply a clove compress to the sore area. Clove is awesome for sore teeth :D

Hi o2bnocn! My wisdom tooth grew when I'm still 13. I don't know if that's too early. I only suffered some months from it. It had freakingly ached but not that much that I can still go to school. However, I only had acquired one wisdom tooth -- which is in the left side of my mouth. Until now, I haven't grew my wisdom tooth on the right! I wish It will grow soon! Keep on sharing! Happy MyLotting!

Mine nagged me for a good two years. My advice to you would be to go to your dentist immediately. I declined to go to the dentist, and I lived through two years of pain that could have been easily avoided.
