java and android

Hi,
Right now am doing my project work upon android application development, I found that, with out the prior knowledge of java language it was very difficult to understand and deploy this new technology. Again java proved its presence in technology terms.

Java is such a powerful language, and I believe it will continue to be one of the most reliable programming languages for a very long time. Though the speed is sub-par at times, it's ability to run on any OS/Platform as long as Java is installed is amazing.
