people are still good: JAPAN

Philippines

I have opened my browser and yahoo homepage appeared with red cross "Japan Relief" on the side and statistics have it that 35,887 people donated already with a total amount of $1,937,603.00 already... I could still say, there are still a lot of good people across the world that has the heart to give, and to help Japan get up. Sure their economy will be affected and even the world economy, but with us, extending a helping hand, we can get through this tough time. God bless the people of Japan and its country!

I guess it's human instinct to help in this times of trouble. Everybody just feel for the lives lost and future for the survivors. I guess it's the time to really help each other out cause we humans should really care for one another.

Yeah, that's why I like the song by Micheal Jackson entitled "We are the world" that goes in its lyrics, "There comes a time When we hear a certain call, That the world must come together as one, There are people dying, And it's time to lend a hand The greatest gift of all" WE really are the world. Let's join hands to help Japan get up from this great crisis in their people, country and economy! God bless.

Hi. chuyins123. That is wonderful! When I was at the dentist office today, I saw people getting help on TV. This is awesome and God is good. It lets you know that there are still some really good people in this world. It would be even more great if all of the celebrities would donate, $1,000 each. I am pretty sure that they all can afford to. I wished that I could give something. Maybe if I can't, I can give them a card that is showing my blessings to this entire country. God Bless Japan!

There are many who are willing to donate money ... I really doubt if each and every penny of the specified amount reaches them though.Japan isn't that bad when it comes to recouping.

I also pray and hope that it reaches to the rightful recipient of Help.

It is a good thing for the people of the world to give to the cause of the Japanese crisis. The real concern is the nuclear meltdown going on in the power plants affected by the earthquake. I hope that problem resolved soon.

That's one thing that need to be solved soonest. It is a very risky crisis, we know the effects if the power plant issue will not be solved. Can't imagine the consequences.

It's true, there are wonderful, kind, giving people everywhere. Here in Australia at the start of the year we had the most devastating floods the country had ever seen that affected 80% of the state of Queensland. So many people volunteered to help move people away from the water, clean up the damage and donate stuff to those who lost everything. It's great to see that people around the world are once again stepping up and helping those that are so desperately in need.

Yes, that's one noteworthy event too. My sister come home from QLD here in the Phils when the flood strikes QLD. All their properties were totally devastated, but by God's grace, people came to her husband for donations, someone donated a house for them to stay, free of rent for two months (also have the possibility of selling the house to them), some donated furniture and other household wares. All their household properties were gone, but God replaced it, all FREE. still blessed with great and generous people. My sister went back to australia last January 26, and she had a home to stay because of those kindhearted people. God is really amazing! :)

news like this is very heart warming. a year ago we were also affected by a flash flood and it was very difficult to stand up again. but with the help of friends around the globe who send their help, cash and kind in a month we are able to see a bright light. japan is now in crisis and i am sure that they will stand up. slowly but of course surely. one small step at a time. GO JAPAN GO!

And let's go spreading the advocacy to help Japan stand up again. It would be a great and noble advocacy to take. I would always love to believe that as humans we are naturally good and generous. Let's continue helping Japan through prayers and donations. God bless.

whatever happened in Japan & to Japanese is a horrible truth, which might be faced by all of us...donating them with a little amount might not loose our pockets but could be of great help to japanese people...
• Philippines
16 Mar 11
Yes, it's horrible but it's also a good chance for us to exude God's love to them. We can be an instrument to let them feel that God is good by extending a helping hand to them through donations and volunteerism. God bless. :)

Who knows how people lost their lives due to this terrible tragic one can't help, but to cry. It really is heart breaking to see the people of japan crying. All we can do is help and the red cross a lot of people have donated a lot of money and that's just great because they really do need it right now.
