Who here had heard about the Super Moon even on the 19 or so this month?

Suppository their is supposed to be many natural disasters caused by this due to the fact that the moon will be 5-7 percent closer to the earth.I guess this has not occurred in over 18 years.I really am afraid after the massive earthquake in Japan just before this event.Has anyone heard about this and do you think that their is any scientific evidence that increased natural disasters are possible during this event.So much 2012 stuff on the net that i cant sort fact from fiction.
