Yes. I hear yah, I bet you would answer Mommy, daddy, mamma, muchin and yes that's very common but aside from that can you still remember what was his/her first uttered word? I saw my niece grew up from the moment she was born and we are so waiting for her first word. Aside from what I've mentioned she mentioned the word "chi-chi"(tiki) which means lizard in the vernacular. =)

My daughter’s first word was something that sounded like ‘bubble’ and that is the word she used from that moment onwards whenever she wanted a drink. I have no idea where ‘bubble’ came from but we all found it very cute and amusing of course! She said ‘dadda’ after that while pointing to her father much to my disappointment being the mummy!

Aw. So cute! Your baby must be a daddy's girl/boy. Just teach her to say mommy, she will easily learn it. =)

Most babies first words would be what is continually repeated. Main reason in all homes with babies to be cautious as to what they say around the babies. Both mine initially said mommy. Outside of the cooing..lol

Hi dheckerz, it is funny when we heard their first word. i can still remember my son uttered 'papa' for the first time. Papa means father in my language.

I really cant remember the 1st mumbled word, but the 1st word that he clearly said was mommy! :) My husband was really jealous because our son was able to know mommy first before daddy, lol! :D
