There are people who are against private money lenders for that fact that the interest they charge are somewhat usurious and they take advantage of the people who succumbed to their terms. Since private money lenders operate underground, it is hard for the sector of a government to monitor this kind of practice. And the result, there are a lot of people who venture into this kind of business. Why their are people who prefer private money lenders over a bank? The answer is: private money lender do not ask documents that a bank ask to those who would want to loan. It's less complicated to transact with a private money lender, and once both party agree, that's it. Simple and convenient. Do you think money lending is evil because the interest added in much higher compare to banks?
