Anyone who grew up watching Zenki?

I really love this anime. There are a lot of suspense on it. Also zenki is kinda cute when he is in his chibi form.

I did watch Zenki in my early days and I enjoyed it. Though today, I can only remember the basic plot and some characters and instances. I remembered the main character, Zenki, as a some kind of revered protector and fighter figure who was accidentally unsealed. when he was unsealed, he has two forms - a brat and the fighting man. On both occasion, he loved to eat eyes of doom, which made me feel gross (I was a kid back then, eating eyes for me is the epitome of gross). But I also love the comedy that the series brought, especially if it involved a brat Zenki being disciplined or punished by the girl whop unseals and seals him. I wasn't really paying attention to the fight scenes I found out the formula for the fights - meaning he usually wins one way on the other. But I love the twist on the plot and the ending. Sigh. Memories...

I remember Zenki from back in the days but I honestly don't recall much about the series. The only thing I remember about the show was what you mentioned in your post. I wasn't too fond of the series for some reason when I was younger. I guess I was too into other shows. Maybe I'll give the show another try. I'm always willing to watch a show where the main character is some kind of anti-hero. Reminds me of Gokudo.

hi albertwhisker! I have heard a lot about Zenki back then coz most of my cousins and guy classmates are talking about it. I think this has been one of their favorites. I have seen some episodes of it but I don't really put much attention. The only thing that makes this one memorable to me is because we use to call one of our professor Zenki! lol!
