My 10 year old son's reason for the moon being so bright in the mornings.

This morning while waiting for the bus the moon was real bright. My son said I know why the moon is so bright. I asked why. He said because the moon turns into the sun later on.So, it is getting bright to do that. That sure brought back memories. I remember when I thought that. LOL.

I remember my reason why the moon brightens up. I used to think it's sun's younger brother and therefore is dimmer than the sun.

Not really. My teacher kept forcing the real reason why the moon shines but I didn't listen. Failed a couple of science quizzes because of that.

This is quite interesting, and something that does make one think. I know when you see Beautiful pictures such as the Sun first coming up, and the sun going down, or the moon being so bright like this it is an amazing picture to look at and this is some great insight on your sons part for sure.

He does keep me happy. If there's days where nothing seems to go right. He sometimes can make the happiness come out. If I'm having a bad day I try to not show it because I don't want my son to see me being upset about things but I know kids can sense things even if you hide it but that is better then showing it.Thank you for commenting and have a wonderful week!

it's funny how the kids thinks, but it's funny when they were still young, i may suggest that better correct his wrong understanding about anything before it gets too late and think that his thoughts were true and right....when i was a child i also think that being a judge in a courtroom was funny because they handle a small hammer and just hit hit it whenever there's a commotions in the court, later on my mom used to tell me that he uses it also to sealed the final judgement or sentenced the suspect or even in adjourning the session it has a lot more reason why they make it and not just hitting it whenever he want to....
