Do You Have a First Aid Kit?

Emergencies happen. Sometimes to us, sometimes to other people. Unfortunately there comes a time that, either to us or to someone we witness, both minor and major accidents happen. That's why not too long ago I decided to gather supplies for a first aid kit. Right now I don't have much in it, but I'm working on it. Especially since I live close to an fault line and well in a potentially affected area should an earthquake happen in my area. Of course that's not the only thing or reason I'm working on it but just one of the many cases or reasons to have one. So, do you have one? What do you have in yours? Is it just for home use? Or do you have one for camping or hiking or the like?

thats a good idea anyway, thank you for that. Actually i dont have first aid kit for camping or hiking like. We do have first aid kit at home. In my work place, since i belong to a medical field the company ofcourse do have a emergency kit. But i agree that we should have our own, so whether where we are we can have what we need in case of emergency for us to help others as well.

Dear friend, We do have a first aid kit at home. At times we take it outside according to the requirements and also if there is chance to use it we definitely take them.

Yes, I do have a first aid kit, one reason being that I travel a lot, within my own country and also to countries in different parts of the world. Travels by car, bus, train, plane. So, it is absolutely necessary to carry along a first aid kit when traveling, especially on long journeys.

When i was a child i can remeber my parents keeping a first aid kit under the bathroom sink. You never knew when it would be needed especially with children in the house. this is something i have adopted into my home as well. When wewould travel, we would also keep one in the trunk of our car. It never hurts to be too prepared.

I have a survival kit in my basement in the case of a tornado or other disaster. It contains canned food, flashlights, a radio, batteries and some basic first aid supplies. I keep a stash of snacks, water and warm clothes in my car, along with a small stash of first aid supplies.

Yes I always have one which I see to it is always well stocked, I had received training from the Philippine National Red Cross so I think knowledge of basic first aid should also come with a well stocked kit, Sorry to hear that you live near a fault line so the more it is you have to be prepared, 2 mild quakes rocked our country yesterday. You see pal I'm a guy who is fond of equipment, I stock medicines, food, water, led flashlights and emergency lights , head lamps, swiss knives, hard hats, all kinds of military style and emergency gear and wear. I'm a little bit crazy so I'm contemplating on building floatation devices from PET bottles LOL, nothing to lose if you are always prepared, just a little money

We had a first aid kit before but it wasn't used for a long time it was thrown away. Our dog played with it so the whole thing just broke. Although I think it's necessary to have one just in case accidents occur, you'll never know when it happens, right?
