Cake anyone? Last year, I started this thing called cake out. Its an activity where I invite old and new friends to go out for a slice of cake. The rule is just to enjoy eating the choice cakes and make the moment memorable. I love cake so much that I really look forward to finding a great cake house. Good cakes is marked - UNFORGETTABLE, not so good is marked - FORGETTABLE. One time, I ordered a chocolote cake with white icing for my friend's birthday. It was a cake that all of us looks forward to that day. When we started eating it, truly it was unforgettably yummy. Another friend brought a cake on that same occassion, unfortunately, the cake I bought was the one everyone loved. And it seemed that the latter cake was quite ignored. For one reason, I planned for that cake. Something came to my mind. I thought, cakes are something to be carefully planned, think about, and prepare about. Now I have these questions playing in my mind. 1. HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF SOMEONE GAVE YOU A CAKE AND YOU DIDN'T LIKE IT? 2. WOULD YOU RATHER WISH THAT THE CAKE YOU WILL RECIEVE IS SOMETHING YOU LIKE? 3. IS IT IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHAT CAKE DOES A PERSON LIKE BEFORE YOU GIVE IT TO THEM? I'm looking for answers.........

Honestly, I would still eat it even if it's not my preferred cake. I would have a little piece of it to show my appreciation for the person who gave it to me. Of course, everyone of us would be happy to receive the one which we really like. If I were the one to give a cake, I will make sure that the one I will give is the recipient's favourite or something that will be great tasting according to my own taste, and I think the recipient would love as well. Although we have different preference, I think I have good taste that any of my friend would like and appreciate as well!

I agree. Thanks for your comments. Can you imagine life without cakes? A birthday is incomplete with a cake, how about in weddings?..I even ordered and have the decorator write just "Happy Eating",and Happy Halloween. And I also noticed,a good cake doesnt last 2 days inside the fridge and the not so good one sometimes stays more than a week.

Hi. jascajiuat. Well I would still appreciate the cake, but I won't really eat it. I may share it with someone else if they like it better. I would like for the cake to be something that I would want, that way I will enjoy every piece of it. I think that it is very important for a person to know what kind of cake that a person would prefer to eat. Some people are allergic to certain kinds of frosting and fillings. And others get nauseated whenever they would eat certain things off of the cake. Just knowing what would be better for another person is fair.

Thank you for your comments. I also believe buying a cake for someone should be given extra effort. I feel that if someone cares to give me something that is well thought, the respect is there, the love is there. And it will make eveything unforgettable.

Hi Jascajiuat, wow! superwoman, do you remember the song? Well, what I suggest here is knowing the person choice of cake before buying would be nice. Of course, when you have brought it, why not? Happy Mylotting.
