MTRCB Main Goal in Television

I haven't watched a lot of television lately because there's nothing good to watch anyway. I just read the news in the internet plus I don't have a TV here in the apartment. Sometimes I watch reruns on video channels and its really disturbing how harsh words can be said by the hosts to each other and nobody is doing anything to filter things like this. Is MTRCB doing what they should be doing? Are they regulating shows, noontime shows, series even commercials that should be put on a time when kids are watching? Never thought that half naked ladies dancing like crazies should be aired at 10am or up to the afternoon... Summer has come and schools are closed so most kids are at home watching. I just hope parents are doing the filtering of channels themselves. What do you think? Does MTRCB plays its role in regulating or filtering the shows on television? I sure think they aren't doing a good job. MTRCB stands for Movie and Television Review and Classification Board
