Definitely Win 7 than vista. because vista consume lots of memory to handle the graphics interface on it and this has been enhanced by win 7.

You certainly can feel the speed of program execution in win 7 and vista. Like microsoft slogan in win 7 that is faster than win XP but secure as VISTA. But still preferred to use win XP because XP still have much compatibility with lots of software program than other windows version.

hahas lol , i doubt in the *right presence of mind* would support windows vista !.. trust me i have both installed on my laptop and it is the windows 7 experience i enjoy more ... windows 7 is based on the drivers n windows xp unlike windows vista which had a new set of drivers with lo of flaws and glitches ..

windows 7 is definitely better than windows vista. Win 7 has many bugs fixed and many features added than vista, windows 7 also has very much less boot time and shutdown time than windows vista

Windows 7 is the best OS from Microsoft so ever. It has a lot of good new features and everything in XP and Vista is well simplified and customized in windows 7. And it is fast compared to earlier OS versions of Microsoft. It has more security features and a lot of bug fixes too. Only thing you need to run with Windows 7 smoothly in your system is, your system must have at-least 2 GB of RAM. Then you're good to go and you'll love using it. :)
