I have been debating lately on starting a personal blog. Just a way to get my thoughts out there and get some closure on a few things. Do any of you do this? I'm not looking for business or revenue or anything like that from the site. Just simply being able to put thoughts out there. Have those of you who have personal blogs every had any issues come up because of them? What's the best site for this sort of thing? Do you ever put links to articles you have read or have an opinion about on them?

If you're not seeking revenue, perhaps something like Blogspot or Wordpress.Com or Webs would be appropriate. My ideal would be buying my own domain and installing Wordpress on it just because I like to have absolute control over things but it certainly isn't necessary, and any of the sites I've mentioned would be a perfectly good place to start. I've always had a bad habit of starting personal blogs and then abandoning them after only making five posts, and then starting up again a year later. In that case I am not sure personal blogging is for me (still pondering that and how to go about it if it is), however, I know for some people it can be quite helpful, and even therapeutic at times. Because I am looking to earn income, I (when I do blog) include links to my Triond articles and things of that nature when applicable. I also link articles and videos and other content and post my personal feelings on them if I find something that provokes my thought. Good luck with your personal blog!
