To those who will graduate this 2011, congratulations. But it seems that the world after your graduation will be more narrower than ever. Aside from the recessions worldwide, we have been hit by huge catastrophic disasters lately plus the never ending war in the middle east. To the graduates, don't loss your hope for the brighter future lies on you. You will still be the hope of our mother nation. Bear this in mind and continue to live like the new generation of heroes.

I heard that the unemployed count is rising in the Philippines and yeah you are right they will not practice their appropriate professional course. Lets face these challenges with heads help up high and give the best we got because as every new generation comes it tends to get tougher and tougher and so must the new Filipino graduated and professionals.

Congratulations to the 2011 graduates. Be glad that you are one of the privilege few who finished school and now entering the real world where money cannot be picked up on the streets nor asked from parents. There are a lot of jobs out there, these jobs may not be in yor specific fields but It is better than not having any job at all. When the right chance for a job is there, grab the opportunity immediately and do the job well! :)

Like you said, don't loose hope. The new generation will be the hope of our mother land. :) There are still a lot out there, we just need to believe. Let's hope for the best. And let's pray that everything will all be all right now. Especially the war in the Middle East. Congratulations to all 2011 graduates and Good luck!

Tell that to my daughter who is as apprehensive as anyone wearing the cap and the toga. She's nuts! After four years and a collegiate degree, she doesn't know where to go and what to do! Joke! My daughter is also affected by all the sad news, and of course she is finding reasons why the teacher retrenchment in Maryland had to happen at around this time, and the Saudi documents are being restudied and renegotiated at around this time, and the exodus of migrant workers are happening at around this time, and why the calamities had to strike at around this time... her graduation time! But she's up there in our sala, playing the keyboard, knowing that everything will be all right... because her time is actually the most challenging time of all...

Yes, while it's good to see that a lot of people are getting the privilege of being able to finish school, it's also sad that most of them, if not all, will endure the difficulties of finding a job. So, my advice to them is that, they should enroll to technical schools like tesda for practical courses. We all know that these days, we have an edge to other job applicants if we have practical skills to match with the things we learned from formal education. (:

It has always been a depressing fact each year especially when graduation months approach (March and October), bunch full of graduates are welcomed to the world of unemployment. Some if not all are non-employed or even underemployed not practicing their profession as such. But thanks to our government because we have lots of skilled courses to take up in technical agencies such as TESDA aside from the one we formally acquired in our four or five-year stay in college/university. Special skills are in demand nowadays which are requisites to jobs abroad for a greener future.

jobs today is really limited and even the current generation is having a very difficult time looking for a good stable job. These new generation will really be challenged on what strategies they are going to do. Global recession will not lift up soon because of the global market is still trying to get up on its knees. Even though we must put in our mind that loosing hope must not be an option. Study hard, work good and have a admirable job ethics then if all favor turns to you grab the opportunity and take care of it nourish it till you will grow professionally and soon employers will be the one chasing after you, not the other way around.
