Many people see poker as a type of gambling that you play and you get rich... That's a dream and not a fact, on poker you can win... but loosing is a fact too, 75% depends on how good you play, if you know more than the basics of poker, depending on the type of poker game you play, or the type of table you play, every single of those details has its own "rules" and ways of playing, you can't just play a tournament like you play a cash game, that's just an exemple... When you go in a poker tournament, atleast me, I don't choose it by the price of the buy-in, I choose it by the number of people, the prize pool and the 1st prize, and I don't really look to the buy-in. After you join the tourney, you start playing... you go far and far, the late registrations close and the tourney really begins, you reach the middle phase of the tourney, this is the most annoying part, the part of the ITM (in the money), where the people really go into the prize pool and receive a reward for playing the tournament, the famous phase of the bubble boy, where a player takes the 1st place before the ITM, leaving the tournament with no money on his hands, its something really bad that happens to everyone, already happened to me, and I can assure you that you won't like it no matter what... Anyway, this to tell that you enter in a stats that its called "Tilt", which you start betting when you don't have a good hand, and doing moved you shouldn't do but you think you must do, that's where the money starts getting out of your pocket and goes to some lucky guy thats looking out for charity if you know what I mean... Cash games are a trap because of that, you enter in tilt easly when you suffer a bad beat, and you start wasting the money there, so my tip is to block your limits and don't go to a table where it has more than 2.5% of your cashier or just don't play, because if you go with more, you will most likely loose all than win... In a long demand, poker makes you loose money and not win money, you will always want more and more and more and even more, that you will end up loosing... Basically, that's my story, I suffered from that, and I'm sure you all don't want to suffer from that too, poker is like a drug and a disease, its really hard to get rid of it, trust me, I've experienced it. Post your comments/stories and rate this post... And please, don't just post for money, I want to see good posts and facts, good and bad stories, successfull and failed stories... Thanks...
