Books,

Books like Ramayana ,Mahabaratha with all their editions or what every they call all we have in our home.My father is very much interested towards these.He has no time to read them however he collects them and keeps in our home.How can we utilise them.He is not interested to give to a library.A whole room contains fuull of books of some what 30 years old., he collected from when he was 20 .Vivekanandas,Ramakrishna Paramahamsa,astrological , house hold related and many ., I dont hav much interest in reading books .Most o f the time i be with my system and my work.

My hubby is a retired professor, we have 5 almirah full of books, some he inherited from his grandfather, we have some on 'palm-leaves' too, he says old books are worth their weight in gold!! I am similar to your father, but with the Bible. I used to buy to many books, and indeed, I didn´t read all, but I had the hope to do it. Til I donate a lot of them to a library. =) Blessings!... Dainy

Wow, are they the first edition? If so, it may be auctioned someday with a high price. Hang on to them. Make a good rack to hold them all and keep them in good condition.

Keep them :) those are priceless. You might not know it yet, but those books are difficult to find and can be costly.=)
