Habit is good , who said its not .How can we carry all the books to the houses we shift .is it possible. And i hav pets "cats" they try spoiling them.As much he is eager in books and things that much i like my both are not compromising. And so much dust and if we dont regularly take and clean the books they get spoiled as they are old .

My hubby is a retired professor, we have 5 almirah full of books, some he inherited from his grandfather, we have some on 'palm-leaves' too, he says old books are worth their weight in gold!! Preserve them, one day you will read them.. Thanks for sharing Cheers. God bless you, have a nice day ahead. Kalyani ‘Namastey’. .

I am similar to your father, but with the Bible. I used to buy to many books, and indeed, I didn´t read all, but I had the hope to do it. Til I donate a lot of them to a library. =) Blessings!... Dainy

Keep them :) those are priceless. You might not know it yet, but those books are difficult to find and can be costly.=)

Wow, are they the first edition? If so, it may be auctioned someday with a high price. Hang on to them. Make a good rack to hold them all and keep them in good condition.
