I just opened a social working site that i'm a member of and found the video of Maroon 5's She Will Be Loved. I have seen it before but i can't help watching it again and i got engrossed in it. It made feel some kind of emotion as if i were the older woman there. It made me want to be loved just like her (not that i don't have love around me). But whenever i get engrossed in a book, movie or music video with stories i feel like i'm the main character. Have you ever gotten yourself involve in the story you can almost feel the pain of the main character?

Hi toni Being emotional and a person who gets involved with such stuff, I think I get too much involved when it comes to emotional drama - be it on a movie or even a story in the novel(though these days I do not read those thick novels). Quite recently I was watching an not so recent movie from Bollywood and I could relate with all the pain. There are many movies where I wept along with the actor in the movie. For Novels, I think it was Exodus or Odessey where I got that involved and since then I stopped reading those big thick books

the thread starter have the reputation for not responding back so I'll post here.... I always loved she will be lvoed because of the depth of its lyrics and melody. I also lvoe the bizaareness of the music video, about a guy who fells in love with his girlfriend's mom. I always wish that music video have a sequel. What happened after the girlfriend caught her boyfriend and mom kissing.

When you can relate to the story of the song, or the novel or movie you will always feel like you were the one in the main character's shoe. Well, it often happens to me. I feel the happiness, the pains and the emotions of the character. That's how fantastic our imagination can get. :)

Hi dear, This is the author's pride. When we totally involved in such movies, films, we may feel that we are the central character. Means, we enjoy and feel the picture as it is and some time we figuratively act and react to it. That means we enjoy them totally. Sometime we can see especially ladies, those cry or weep while they see some sort of scene in certain movies, mainly because of the involvement or participation with it unknowingly. It is a natural phenomenon and when we become the same character, the director or the author really succeed with their job. Thank-s

I often times relate to a lot of stories, movies and even simple music videos like those and that's what they want their audience and fans to feel as well. I remember that song so well and the video itself. I think that the catchy melody, lyrics and the whole concept made this song the stepping stone of Maroon 5 to fame.

Hey there I love this song you mentioned a lot. We used to song it a lt back when I was living in the hostel, with all wrong lyrics and stuffs. Oh i miss those days. Anyway for the second part of the question: I can't really relate to any story (not that I can think of now) but I do always imagine myself at the place of the main character if I seriously love the movie LOL Anyway I hope you have a great day

Yes, I have experienced that feeling before. Feel the pain of the person in the movie/video clip. It shows that you have a very good empathy. And Maroon 5's She will be love is Good Song + Good band.
