What is the reason you stop doing or starting a blog?

At this point, I want to know your side... to all who experience blogging, and to all who have ideas what blogging is. Guys, who among you succeed doing your blog? Who among you successfully monetize your blog?
And, to those who regret they spend time doing their blogs, what are the reasons?
This one is not a referral link, learn4life is an inspiration for blogging newbies like me. "Blogging is like tree planting."

I used to have a blog a couple of years ago or so. It was just a personal blog and nothing more to it. But then I just stopped blogging and deleted my account. Now, I am planning to have another blog I can take care of personally and I might want to invest on it as well. As for monetizing my blog, I really have not much of an idea how it works but once I get to start and maintain a blog, then maybe I might consider it.

All we have to put in mind is the topic we are going to work with when we will make our blog. we need to be consistent with that, thats the hardest part for me. but if we are already dedicated doing our blog, then that is so possible. my blog is just another thing that is trying to inspire blogging newbies. Do not invest at first, make sure that you are ready taking your blog in a higher level before paying for a domain and much more with that. experiment and enjoy your blog.

Finding the thing that I could really blog about and be passionate about is one tough thing to consider. Also, maintaining the blog itself would really take a lot of my time and I am quite afraid that I might not be able to maintain it for as long as I can. I just wish to find that one thing I can really right about to start with and maybe who knows? Maybe I could earn through my blogs in the future.

Well I am starting one but not sure I'll continue it because I am really tyring to find the best niche fo rme, that's the obstacle I have to get over before I can get to blogging and earning (hopefully) a good amount!

i often have long periods where i don't blog because of work
i try to make it a point to mylot though just so i learn new things
i've been putting off my plan to blog daily sigh

Blogging is something people do when they want to share their life experiences. I personally don't blog, but I think its a great thing to do because you can practice your writing and share your thoughts or feelings you've had throughout the day.
