The egg came before the chicken, and I can prove it.

This is going to blow your mind away with pure logic. Which came first, the egg or the chicken? The answer is, the egg. Because, birds are related to and descended from reptiles. Reptiles were around millions of years before any feathered bird was. Reptiles reproduced by laying eggs. Therefore, the egg came first. Go on, argue with me on this one. Ha haa.

True, but that is becoming a variation of the direct question, which is not my intention. Thanks mate.

Before it is a chicken it was an egg and that's the best prove of it. The argument that a chicken must first have an egg is a false one because that chicken was an egg before . What were you first Little or great looks maybe a stupid question but what cames first the chicken of an egg is exactly the same. The argument about reptiles is no prove,a reptile are no chicken but that a chicken cames out of an egg ,that's sure ,that egg and the chicken that comes out the egg are the same.

Hi, you are assuming that the question is referring to a chicken egg. It does not actually specify a chicken egg. You assumed that. It only asks, 'What came first, the chicken or, the egg?

You cannot prove but you got a point there... Still when we say the chicken or the egg we actually take the principle that we are speaking of a chicken egg... Therefor your theory won´t fit since the eggs lay by reptiles defenetly are not chicken eggs... Anyhow scientist and geneticists are now stating that chicken is a evolution of a prehistoric bird and the chicken as we know it now came originally from a embryoned egg... So you got that right! Congrats

Hi, I understand what you are getting at, but since it is never actually stated, (and it should be) I have a little bit of free license available to me. Thanks for replying.
