Is there really a "love at first sight"?

I'm just wondering if there really exists a thing called "love at first sight". How do you know that it's already a love at first sight? Do you have to feel something weird like the stop had stop or you can't see anybody else but that person and all the people around you are blurred but that person? Is it like that? :D

It's difficult to explain. The closest thing I can think of is this clip. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1b_LHKwL6s

Wow, I just finished watching the video. I really like it. Well, it's really hard to find true love and I think that the most difficult thing about love at first sight is that you'll never know when will you see that person again. :D

Which is why when it happens you have to seize the moment immediately. Talk to them, maybe get their e-mail or their phone number. Set up to see each other again sometime. When something like that happens, you can just let it slip by.

I have to say, I don't think there is love at first site. I do believe their is an immediate attraction at first site, but not love. Watching that clip from the first viewer posted response still did not convince me of this this. To each its own, and i'm really far from gullible. People would have to prove something to me more than once to actually believe it :)

How exactly can one "prove" their personal feelings and experiences?

I was the one who posted that video and it wasn't meant to convince anyone of anything. It was only meant to describe the feeling.

I said "people would have to prove something to me more than once to actually believe it" just in general. How can some "prove" their personal feeling and experiences? Is my point exactly and I was referring to the video by the first mylotter who comment on this page that video did not convince me of anything.

some people are mistaken infatuation for love. For me love at first sigh does not exist,it is infatuation. When you love someone are someone love you,you have to get to know the person have a good communication and a good chemistry. First when you meet some a person you like them, after communicating an sharing then the feelings started to grow between both individual then we can call it love.

So communication is really important for love to happen. If that is the case then what you feel for let's say a classmate that you don't even get to talk to at all neither say a single word is only infatuation. Cause your only attracted to his/her physical appearance. I got it! Thank you :D

Its a very complicated theory of life. Well, lets admit it that love at first time... then s/he has found that next one is not the right person to him/her after a coffee time. then? Is it love?

Youngsters mistakenly treat crush or infatuation as love. Crush is a simple admiration, but when it goes deeper, touching other attributes such as thoughtfulness and being caring, that crush develops as love. Love-at-first sight I think is only a feeling of crush because you saw him/her as cute.

I think you are right. Love is really hard to understand or to explain. Youngsters do mostly fall for the person based on their physical appearances. :D

I think it all started as an infatuation and when you get to know that person well you will eventually feel something strange until that feeling turns into happiness seeing that person you like most. It will grow deeper as time goes by which turns into LOVE.

So it's not really bad to have an infatuation towards somebody. If it gets deeper it can be love. I'm beginning to see and understand things clearly. :D

Truthfully speaking, I don't believe in love at first sight. It's just that I don't think it'll ever occur to me. Or so I think.. :D
