I am planning to buy the phone of my office-mate which is Nokia C500. I like the phase and it is cool. Do you have bad experience in using this Nokia C500.

HI Syoti20, Nokia itself is a very good brand and i trust it most , much more than Sony, motorolla, samsung or LG when it comes to mobile phones and i checked this phone online after seeing your discussion and yes i like it .. so i searched it more and found this complaint on a website I recently purchased the Nokia C500 for me and the thing is that I was really happy to have that on the first glance. I thought that it was the best piece after I upgraded the cell phone of mine after 3 Years of long wait. Now when I broke the seal I have seen that all the specifications that were mentioned in this case are present there and when I was using the cell phone then I have noticed some of the build issue with this cell phone and I am completely blank on this. I have seen that the display screen is somewhat tilted and really need to have the words on this. I have also found that the memory card slot cover is also loose. I think that I have already made delay and I will not have the replacement. Is there any chance of getting this fixed? http://forums.techarena.in/portable-devices/1376906.htm

If your phone is still under warranty then you may seek from the person whom you bough your phone.

haha =D It's been a long time since i last used a nokia phone.. lol =D EVer since i'm using samsung, before my iphone, i've stopped using nokia because it's not that good anymore. Though nokia are coming out with more models now, but quality is still inferior compared to samsung. IF u really want a new phone, i would recommend samsung, rather than nokia. Dun waste your money.. haha

If you speak of the cell phone brand nokia, its suppose to be good.Maybe there are some nokia models that do not meet some users expectation, but it was quickly replaced by new models. You said the phone of your officemate so if you buy it you will be the 2nd owner.Did he/she says why he/she want to dispose it, I think you must know the reasons before buying the phone.

I think it is a good brand, but it depends on where it is manufactured, if is china, you better be sure, that will not be a good one.

No, we've only had Samsung phones. I really like it. Wish I could give you a critic.

Nope, have not used or heard anyone using it from my side. Maybe you should check out more from your colleague? I'm using a Nokia N8, kind of lag & freezes sometimes if I press too fast as I'm used to fast speed. But on the whole I should say Nokia is still a very reliable brand

I didn't see this new nokia C500. But I think this is a good one to buy. This is new and don't worry about the durability because it is new...

When you say NOKIA.. it has flawless reputation in their products in terms of durability. So you dont have to be worried with nokia products unless if you buy those china nokia phones.or nokia imitations.
