What is the free site that I can bid a job for translation?

I want to do a translation job from English to Indonesian. Can you tell me please what site that I can join for free? I had try transatorbase.com, but they ask money to be a full membership.

there are many sites you can get and bid for free.
But the two most famous site I know are.
Odesk and freelancer.
Try this 2 sites and you will get few jobs and start making money.

you can check on odesk. I am looking at translation jobs they are offering now and there are a lot. Not sure if any are for english to indonesian but you can go there and look around. there's a chance there might be.

i actually see job posted on here that needs you to translate medical related articles from english to indonesian. so ya, definitely go there and check the site out, it is free to join but you have to take a short 11 question test to be able to accept jobs.

Have you tried www.fiverr.com.
There you can create a gig and offer to translate for $5
You can offer to do just about anything at all there too!

There are dozens of freelancer sites and most of them will offer translation jobs of some description. I don't do translation, but I do other freelance work and my top sites are Elance, oDesk, Guru, Freelancer, vWorker and Greatlance. And you could sign up to DoNanza to help you keep track of the new jobs as they come in.
