Tired But Not Beaten

So it's finally Friday in my side of the world. What a relief. The week has been exhausting. It started with Monday. I called in sick at work, but I was not totally sick, sure I was having the worst stomach pains, but it was because I was doing a qualifying exam in another company. At work, an old "project" gets resurrected. It's been with me for like the longest time, and I've exhausted all resources (and myself, too) and could not find what the boss wants me to find. He's been cranky most of the time, as usual. And, my resentment towards my work is at its highest. I'm on a low carb diet, have cheated twice or thrice. And exercised like crazy. In between, I've been mylotting and clicking every possible moment I could spare at the office. Am I so glad it is now Friday. I feel so tired. I'm totally looking forward to the weekend because I'm going home to mum and dad, attend a cousin's wedding, go to church, and meet up with my friend because we'll be working on her flowers for her wedding. By then, I'll be recharged, and I know I'd be able to tackle the coming week head on! How is your Friday? Any plans for the weekend or the coming week? Do share!

Hi Glory! It is 8:20pm here still on Thursday. I have plans for Saturday at the Theater with my boyfriends show in the evening. But outside of that not a whole lot going on with me. I read your weekend plans and see you will be really busy. Try and get some rest in between all of that.

Strange but those weekend activities of mine are destressing enough for me. Any other activity other than work is good for me. It is just my work that really stresses me. But, yes, I'll still chill a little over the weekend Oooh, I remember you once posted that your boyfriend is an actor. I miss watching theater. It's been a long, long while. And the last I watched was a musical. It's just a matter of how many hours and you'll have Friday, too! A peaceful weekend is a good weekend. Recharges you for the next week ahead.

Hi. glorycam. Well I don't have anything totally planned for this weekend. But, I did want to go shopping. I also want my sister to come and pick me up so that we can go and place flowers on my cousin's grave. He passed away in January of this year. I also may mop my kitchen and bathroom floors tomorrow too. I hope that you have a great time at your cousin's wedding. It sounds like you have a full and a fun weekend that is ahead of you. I am also glad that it is the weekend too. I have been hurting for a break right about now. Enjoy your weekend!

Yes, I have enjoyed my weekend (quite obvious as I didn't even have time to Lot ). And, I think you had a busy one, as well, and hope you enjoyed it. Thank God for weekends, right?

it has been a long week for me also. i have had a sick kid at my house this whole week, had a project at work that i had to finish (my boss is pretty nice though) and i suffer from fibromyalgia so at the best of times, i am tired and found out that i need hearing aids this week and even with my hubby's $500 that his company provides, it would still cost us $1,500 - so needless to say(according to one quote that i got), i am shopping around. its just seems to have been a long week and i, too am happy that i can rest tonite and tomorrow.

Awww...It must have been a terribly long week for you. I hope that you've rested well over the weekend, and that things are better. Hope the new week would be better for you, me, and everybody else here.

It was indeed a busy week for me because I have been accompanying my daughter to and from the school. She was recently diagnosed with weak lungs which she got form the stressful on-the-job training and the public school where she did her OJT. I had to be with her while she practiced for her graduation next week. This weekend we are planning to go to the mall and buy her graduation dress and shoes. She's so excited for this upcoming event and so am I because she's the youngest of my four children and at last they have all graduated from school.

Congratulations! Parents must be so proud when their children graduate! And she's the last one, too! Wow... Graduations are always a happy event, and I suspect that it's the parents who are happier! Well, I sincerely hope you enjoy your weekend and enjoy your bonding moment with your daughter as you go shop for her shoes and dress. Nothing beats shopping as mommy-daughter bonding time! I just hope that her health would be fine after.

It's Friday here today and thank God it's Friday, for me. Although, tomorrow will still be half day until 12 noon, i consider Friday already as end of the office week. I can sleep a little later and wake up later than my usual because reporting time on Saturday is 1 hour later. I am looking forward to this evening's relation at home and the rest of the weekend.

Don't you just love Fridays? I love Fridays, too, because things are a lot more relaxed here at the office, and yes, one could sleep as late as one wants! Thank God for Fridays, indeed!

I guess it's a happy weekend for Yuro, then! Right, Fridays are supposed to be a night out, but, it's been a long time since it's been that. Busy lives, sigh. Get's in the way of having truly meaningful lives. I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

I am going to work on getting rid of this cold that I have. I need to get busy and earn some money online, since I do not have a job. So, are you planning on changing jobs? Is that what I understand from what I am reading here? Have a great time with your family visit and with your friend.

A cold, that's nasty. I hope you get well soon! Yes, I'm planning changing jobs, because I can't take it here anymore. I've ranted about it here at myLot some months ago, and sadly, I'm still here. That's why I was so nervous and excited at the same time last Monday. Thanks, I will have a good time this weekend. I hope you do, too! And I hope you'll feel better real soon!
