As far as I know, whenever credit is checked, they check all three. I am thinking there is not alot of difference. I would go ahead and get my free credit report from myfreecreditreport.com. You can do this once a year and this gives you access to all three credit agencies. See if there are any charges on there that you dispute. If there are...you can do it right then...the credit agencies will investigate the charge and send you conformation as to if it stays or goes. Then print it. There will be names and phone numbers on the report. If there are any really high debts that you have had for a long time, I would suggest calling them and offering them a settlement amount or see what they will take to get it off your credit. I think that if there is a charge on there that is over 7 years old, you can request that to be taken off too. Not supposed to be on there but for a certain time. Do not let anyone else run your credit. Everytime your credit is run by someone else...the score drops about 2 points.
