Women fall in love easily but find it hard to let go of a relationship once it ends. However, men don't fall in love easily but find it easy to move on, once the relationship ended. What do you think? Are men and women the same in the aspect of love and relationships? This discussion reminds me of the saying "All is fair in love and war." Your thoughts please.

I think most women who think they are in love are really not; they form a serious attachment to a guy who has shown her some attention and she almost alway mistakes it as love. In my opinion, women gives themselves too quick and too completely. They don't seem to know how to play the same game that men play. They should know that, these days, most men are not falling in love they are just surfing the possibilities and when they are done with one choice, they move on to another girl. It is not the guy's fault that girl are so hungry for a relationship that they will give up a quality relationship just to be with any guy. Surely, this kind of behave will almost alway lead to heartache.

I think that is the reason why most of us find it difficult to move on once a relationship ended because we give away ourselves too quickly and too completely. I don't think this is true only for women. We all, at some point get so hungry for a relationship. Yes most of us do mistake some feelings for love and others just are at it like it's a game. I hope that we learn to be emphatic and realize also what hurts other people.

I think you are right, when you say that this doesn't just happen to girls, guys get hurt just as deeply when they fall too quickly as well.

In my opnion, men and women should have the same right about their love.Like me,I was in love with a girl for 3 years, but she choosed another guy in the end.I killed myself once.Luckily,I got out of this period after 3 years.Am I a woman?Hey,maybe I don't think so~

I am glad you got out of that bad experience. It is not about being a man or a woman. We all are subjected to the same hurtful things and of course get hurt all the same.

I guess that depends on the person. I knew men who don't easily accept losing someone they love,or even fight for it. It is known that women are much showy to show their love and affection, where men are much reserved. But when it comes to love and letting go...both find it hard to moved on. happy weekend and welcome to mylot
