Neal McCoy autograph....

Okay I have a white cowboy hat that years ago I was able to get Neal McCoy's autograph on it. I have since gotten away from listening to too much country and am wondering if it would be worth anything. I know I haven't heard of him doing much anymore. Does anyone know if his signature is worth anything? Or maybe a website that I can go to, to get information on how much autographs are worth? Any and all information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!

Hi little one, I did some checking on Ebay for you and then it dawned on me. Is the hat a girl's hat or a guy's hat? Is the hat a good one or something cheap? Is it in good shape? The only reason I'm asking is that cowBOY hats are going at an average on Ebay of $25 and up. These were auctions, not the Buy It Now. But with his autograph it could create much more interest.

Thank you for doing some research for me. The hat is a unisex, it can be worn by a girl or boy. It is one of those white hard straw cowboy hats. It wasn't extremely expensive but it wasn't cheap either. And, yes it is in good shape. Just needs to be wiped down from sitting in my closet for the past 10 years. I normally try to stay away from ebay, but maybe I will have to look into it. Thank you!!!

Ok, I went and checked back on Ebay. It's very hard to say what's going on because most of the items are BuyItNow so I can't tell if the items sell or not. It might be worth a couple of bucks just to see what would happen. I wish I could do it for you. I would try 2 different categories at the same time. They have a "autograph" section under music memorabilia and the second category would be in the clothing under "hats". The men's clothing has a section for cowboy hats, but the women's is only hats but I didn't see cowboy hats in it. There is a unisex section too but I don't think that's where I'd put it. I don't think too many people go to that category. I would call it a vintage hat and explain how you got the autograph. People like stories behind collectible items so they can tell other people. I don't know, it might be fun. Take at least two good pictures, one of the hat, and a close-up of the autograph. That's all I can suggest. Start at the price you want for the hat and make sure they pay the shipping charges. Good luck!
