Xbox platinum, 720, myths?

Ok so i was just wondering have you guys heard about the xbox platinum membership where you buy a life time membership? I know it was a myth but does anyone know where it started? I heard about the 720 before the kinect but again I have started hearing about this; anyone else? If you have can you post some links? also anything else you may have heard is welcome =]

The platinum membership is just another random rumour.
And the next xbox console will be much faster and expensive than the current one because the latest games are becoming more graphical intensive, while the Xbox 360 is just running them on lowest settings around 30 fps.
So you can expect better game experience in the future.
