Is this a scam?

I was searching for writing gigs on craigslist and came across an ad that said it was looking for SEO article writers for a blog of a wide range of content. It asked for samples to be copied and pasted, and asked for how much the applicant would charge for articles. I'm new to the ghost writing thing, so I would like to know if this sounds like a scam. How would I know? Is it normal for people to post these gigs on craigslist?

I posted an add on Craigist a few week ago with my business E-mail. I've been receiving e-mails from craigist stating your add was deleted. I contacted craigslist and it was not them sending the e-mail. I'm afraid a lot of people abuse this service. If I were you, I would send a message back stating you would like the opprotunity to work for him/her. But don't send any of your work. You would just be giving him/her what they want. If you copied and pasted your work, you probably wouldn't hear from him/her again. Best Wishes!
